SPRING / SUMMER 2019 In a PERSONAL attempt to make a change to fast-fashion's identity. I designed a shoe made from SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS. Sustainable & recycled upper materials; Nickel-free eyelets; Waxed laces; Organic cotton stitching; Insock printed with eco-friendly dye. All whilst paying close attention to its manufacturing processes and glue usage. The outsole and rubber details are composed of recycled phylon and ultimately sold over 15,000 pairs worldwide. Paving a new way to encourage INDITEX to take a more sustainable approach to its design process and become more eco-conscious for the future.
